Ho Ho Ho Home

My teacher recently asked "What does home mean to you?" Well, Home is all I think about day and night, especially when I have bad days. The reason I think about home 24/7 is because home is where the most important people in my life live, sleep, eat, and drink. My dad contributes with his delicious cooking that not only feeds our hunger but our souls too. He helps me with homework, sports, and so much more. My mom is very important in our household. She cooks for us, she cleans, she cares for us, and the amount of stuff she does for us is incredible. I don't know how she does it! Without those two I wouldn't be here today. We can't forget my amazing grandma who makes delicious snacks, paints with me, and fixes ripped clothing with her awesome sewing skills. Oh yes, my dear brother, we can fight sometimes about a lot of things, but he has taught me a lot of things in the past 10 years I've known him. All these people make me feel at home whenever I have a frustrating day, but there is one member of my family I haven't mentioned - my dog! The most awesome pet I could ever have. If I have a bad day all I need to cheer me up is my dog with her puppy dog eyes. In general, If I think about everything awesome waiting for me at home, I just can't help but smile. I'm so grateful to have a room of my own, water to drink, food to eat, and most importantly a family that loves me. That's why I want to help "Habitat for Humanity" to make sure everyone has a home and can be as happy as I am.
