What Home Means to Me

Home is a very special place to me, and I hope it is special to you as well. Home is a space where I feel loved and feel remembered. This is the difference between a house and a home. A house is a basic structure with furniture, walls, doors and a roof. A home is a place where I feel safe, and also a home is where memories are made, where great holidays are spent with my amazing family. I love my home. I especially love that I have a roof over my head, and underneath that roof are a bunch of extraordinary things and people. Home makes me feel safe, and safety plays a big role in my home. When I think about my home, it brings great feelings to mind. Also, when I think of home, I think of all of the amazing foods that have been made for my awesome family. For example: grilled cheeses, chicken, and a lot more. When I think about my outstanding home, I think of my room and all of the crazy and awesome items inside of my room. That’s what makes my room so special. Finally, what makes my home even more special is that it makes me think of my amazing friends. With my friends, we play hockey, video games, and we do more amazing things too. Also, when I think of home, something that comes to mind is me playing in my basement with my family. We play baseball, hockey, dodgeball, and soccer. These are just some of the reasons why my home is the most wonderful of all the places to me.
