What Makes a Home

Home is a place where I feel safe and there is a roof on top of me and delicious food on the table. Home is where I share laughter and love with my family. Home is where I cuddle with my family. Home is where I bake banana cake and enjoy every single piece. I am so grateful that I am in a safe place with my loved ones. When I come home from school, my sister brings me a new toy and it makes my day. Every winter my family and I make s’mores over the fireplace and keep warm. I just can't imagine how other people feel without a home, so I am really grateful that I have a home.
