What Makes a Home

Home to me is a family dinner where our laughter fills the halls and there’s homemade food for all. Home is where the smell of hot chocolate drifts through the house on cold winter days. Home is a place that we share with the ones we love. Home is where sibling rivalry is over taken by the smell of homemade banana bread and fresh lemonade. On the coldest days we snuggle up on our couch watching TV. Home is a place where you can be yourself and go to bed safe and sound. Home is a safe place for all.It’s a roof over my head and a bed filled with love. Home is where magical and amazing things happen. Home can be many different things. It can be soft, cozy but overall home is a safe place. Home is love. Home is laughter. Home can be many different things and many different feelings.
