Home to Me

Home, it's not just where you sleep, it's where you feel love, where you feel safe, where you can speak your mind without judgement, where the people who care about you are, where you can feel happiness, joy, excitement, even sadness. Home is where you can let all your emotions out or maybe just feel relief from stress and pet your pets, from dogs to monkeys. Home is different from person to person. Home can be anything from your grandma's house, your uncle's farm, maybe a basketball court or even a soccer field. To me home is where those who love me are where I can walk outside on my drive and shoot a basketball or into my backyard and kick a soccer ball. After doing all that amazingly fun stuff I can go inside and eat my favourite foods from pizza to chicken wings. Then I go down stairs, hop in my bed, put on my favourite Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban) and fall asleep to the theme song. I’ll wake up in my cozy bed, realize I have to go to school and get a little disappointed but then I can see my friends which is what cheers me up. That's home to me.
