The Home Poem
Home is where you can be safe,
Where you can run and where you can play.
It is not just a place where you reside,
It is where you should have lots of pride.
Home is where you can feel warm,
Where you can go when you are stuck in a storm.
It is a place that your family loves,
A place where you can have your safety gloves.
Home is where you find personality,
Where you go and find your originality.
It is not a house with all your belongings,
It is where you will not be longing.
Home is where there is lots of cheers,
Where you don’t get any jeers.
It is a place where you can be happy,
A place you don’t need to be snappy.
Cheers to the home that we grew up in,
It is something that we hold within.
I hope that it will always be sublime,
With sweet and soft, twinkling chimes.
