Home Is Where The Heart Is.

Home is where you feel safe and protected, not where a house is but where you can be yourself, express yourself and love who you want to love. You may not choose your biological family but you sure can choose your family and home at your heart, it may be a friend's house or the pond but it doesn’t have to be where you sleep or get fed, it is where you want to be, where you feel welcome and able to express yourself. Where you are comfortable in your own skin, home is not a place you feel like you have to go, home is a place where you want to go. It's where you feel like you're not walking on eggshells but where you're standing proud with all the people that supported you throughout your life and who will be there when you fall down and feel sad, the people that will help you up with every small baby step. Home is where the heart is.
