The Meaning of Home

Home is where you feel safe without having to be brave. Home feels like the warmth of the sun when we laugh and share joy to have fun. Home is built with walls of trust. A home is where there’s no need to adjust. Home is when I disagree with my brothers yet, I secretly know they’re true colors. A home has a roof of love, even though sometimes we push and shove. Home is where we all celebrate each one of our unique traditions after we cuddle up with our dazzling kittens. A home is coming back from work or school and smelling all of the mouth watering food that makes me drool. The kindness within our neighborhood and the people in our small community, bring me great happiness. It serves as a powerful reflection of the glorious opportunities Habitat for Humanity is giving to those who require a home, fresh start or a new beginning.
