What does a home mean to me?

When you look at a building with walls and a roof that’s a house not a home. A home is where your family is, whether it’s in the streets or in an apartment, as long as your family is there that’s all that matters. For me a home is where my family is, it's where my rabbits and my parrots are. It’s a place where when I wake up in the morning I know exactly where I belong and that is here at home. Everybody has a home, some may not be there but they know it’s there. If anybody loses a pet or a friend they know that home is the place where they would seek comfort and in a benevolent manner they would receive it. Home is the place to seek solitude from other people whether it happens to be a friend or a dear one. Home is where you eat cookie dough with your mom, where you play chess with your dad, and where you talk profusely to your pets. Thank you habitat for humanity for other people to have a better home :)
