Meaning of Home

A home is a place with more than four walls. A home is a place where there's love for all. When walking through my special door, the sound of laughter and so much more fills me up with joy. Fresh baked cookies come out of the oven and get devoured by lots and lots of teenage boys. Laying on the couch everyone joins and lays down because it's movie night tonight.; my dog comes too, although he just wants the food. A family grows like the plants in the yard, seeds sprouts, flowers bloom, and baby birds fly to their moms to say, “I love you." On a rainy day, with a hot tea in my hand and a cozy warm sweater, my dog curls up by the fire to rest and relax, My family and I start a puzzle and have a wonderful time all together. You can have a luxurious mansion or a cardboard box, but it's the joy inside that makes a home. And Habitat for Humanity helps families big and small have a home and joy for all.
