My Home, My Heart

A house is just four walls and a roof but a home is filled with love and care and where I learned to move. Home is a safe place, a place where I can feel loved. A house is where I have a roof, A home is where my dog goes woof woof A house is where I have four walls, A home is where I grow and fall A house is just a place, A home is where I cuddle up by the fireplace. A home is where I pray every night, A house is where my candles burn so bright When I come home on any day, all I can think about is Hooray. When I come home on Friday I can hear the yummy chicken sizzle in the frying pan, I am a big fan Home is where I spend and make memories, Home Is where I can feel the breeze of ease. Home is where I chill on a family movie night. The sound of fresh buttery popcorn popping fills the air. The smiles on our faces as we laugh together. I’m comfortable, safe and warm. I feel loved. A home is where all my worries melt away, I love my home and I want it to stay. So thank you home for humanity for giving me the opportunity to write about what home means to me and opening my eyes to something bigger than before.
