What Home Means To Me

Home to me means a safe building full of love, food and happiness. Home is where your family is, and I think everyone deserves a safe warm place to live. Home is where you make memories with your family. Some memories I’ve made with my family over the years are when my dad dropped a plate with a pancake on it, or when my family throws a big summer year end party with bouncy castles and ice cream. I think everybody deserves a place that they can make memories in. The difference between a house and a home is that a house is just a place and a home is where you make memories or where you play games with your family. Home is where you play board games with your family or where you eat dinner with your family. Home is where me, my siblings and my dad play mini sticks in our basement or where you play outside in your backyard after school. Or if you have sleepovers with your siblings. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity for letting kids like me be able to inspire young kids or adults. That's what home means to me.
