THE MEANING OF HOME

Home can mean a lot of things For some people it means when the doorbell rings Home can be on a train In a house or in the rain Home may not be a place Maybe it’s when you see a loved one's face And feel the warmth from a long embrace But home is not the place where you were born It’s the place where you always go back to, to blow the horn Maybe home is a feeling inside A place of comfort in your mind The meaning of home is up to you Let dependence, or independence, shine through Some people have houses that are not homes In their houses the feel isolated, or alone But that is not what home is, really Home is where you can be as delicate as a lily What home really is, is love, to be loved or to have love Home is where you feel like you are flying, like a dove Your love can be anywhere Russia, France or an evil lair What does home mean for you? Does it mean comfort, or family too? One thing that home always is, though is and arrow of love, shot through Cupid's bow.
