What Home Means to Me

Home is a place that is more than just a place. Home is where you enjoy yourself. Where you build relationships with friends and family. Somewhere that you know that you are protected with a shelter over your head, and somewhere you can have fun and be you. Home is a place where memories are made over the years. Where family gathers and supports you more than anything making you feel confident, beautiful and strong. Where you play, have fun, build relationships and support others. A place where you can be yourself without judgment and a place where you don't judge others. Home is more than just a place but is a safe spot. Somewhere that you know you are safe and protected. It is the place that you come home to everyday no matter what emotion you are feeling. Home is the place for you if you are feeling sad, happy, angry or even excited. When at home you can do almost anything, eat, drink, sleep, play, talk and be loved. When at home you have fun and enjoy life, you play with you’re friends and family and run around all day. You enjoy the time you have and don't take advantage of it. Having fun under a nice and warm shelter helps to understand the meaning of gratefulness and shows you not to be greedy and spoiled because of how lucky you are to have your shelter.
