Home Isn’t Just a Structure

Home is where I feel safe and loved by the people around me. It is where I can express my feelings and not be scared. Home is a place filled with fun, love, laughter, and time with family while playing board games at the table all night. Home is playing soccer in the back yard in the summer. Home is jumping in leaf piles with my brothers in the fall. Home is having a snowball fight with family in the winter. Home is playing man hunt late at night in the spring. Home is having a hot chocolate after playing in the snow. with family all day long. Home is a campfire on a spring. night while playing catch with a football over the fire. Home is your cat's fur rubbing on you while lying in bed late at night. I wish everyone could have a home like mine. Thanks to habitat for humanity children like you and me can.
