Home Poem

My home looks like a place to feel safe, And sounds like the shower making me glisten, I love watching my dad cut wood on his laith, My home smells like flowers, my house is full of them, I love my parents, I love my family, And the taste of my parents cooking, I always rate it ten, My home feels like me breathing softly, I love playing outside and I always say yay, It looks like happiness making me move calmly, My home sounds like my brother walking down the hallway, To me home feels like a castle, And my brother’s jokes spreading laughter, Sometimes at home we usually hustle, The warm fresh air, making me inhale, And the meditation making me exhale, I hope home stays the way it is. Sometimes I visualize, I hope home never goes away, But I turn the visualization into communication, And my parent’s encouragement making me feel as strong as a buffalo, A home is a home, The calming music makes me feel soft like as a pillow, I plant all the plants, In the sun it looks like they dance, All in all, I love home!
