What Home Means to Me

My home is more than a big piece of cement to me. The word home reminds me of my soft bed, mom’s fresh bread, and the countless blessings God has given me. When I think of not having a home, I feel sorry for those who have no place to live in. Homes are great places to live where you can sleep, rest, read, warm up, and play. Also, if you have property, it is great to have some fun in! When I come back from a trip, it feels so good to go in my bed. People need homes. Without a home, you would have no bed, no food storage, and no comfort. I am thankful that I am able to write this because I know a family that was helped by Habitat for Humanity to get their old furnace and their leaky door replaced. I hope that more people can use Habitat for Humanity to enjoy the comfort of a home.
