The Senses of My Home

The Senses of My Home By: Taylor Home is where my mom, dad, brother and two dogs Rosco and Jade live. With memories to remember that will live on and make new memories each year. If home were a sound, it would be the via train honking going by my home every morning. When I wake up to get ready to go my grandparents in the morning. If home were a smell, it would be the Scentsy that smells like marshmallows that my mom turns on with our Alexa. When she works from home when she is not in the office. If home were touch, it would be when I play with my dogs. When I let them out after I get back from school. Running around having fun on a nice autumn or spring day. If home were a sound, it would be when my brother and me play. After he gets home from day care. We are always laughing and play screaming like there is not a tomorrow. Home is where we celebrate Canada Day with fireworks in the air. Home is where we celebrate Christmas at home opening gifts, giving them, and having bacon for breakfast. A house is made from wood and bricks. A home is made from love and family. Home is a safe place, where you can be yourself. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people who do not have houses homes.
