Home is a place where i feel safe My home is a place where i feel i could take a break My home is my escape from life Curled up in my bed, late at night When i look at my wall of polaroids, and all the memories i've made I realize how many of my friends left, and how many actually stayed Home makes me fall deep in thought And think about how many friendships, which for i fought Family though, that's forever They'll be there whenever Your dad, always ready to cheer you up in times of need With his non funny dad jokes coming at you at rapid speed Your mom, always able to cook up your favorite meals And always make your accomplishments a really big deal Your sibling, always pushing you to your limit But you love them more every minute, bit by bit Home is where i feel the most love From my family and even my dog Home is where i feel my best, recharged and ready to conquer With my family's support helping me to push through for longer Home is where i feel safe Its my favorite place Maya M
