What A Home Is To Me

We may all have a house but do we all have a home? A home is a special place, it's not just four walls surrounding you. A home needs way more than four walls. It needs a family, love and safety. All those things make a home a home and I’m going to talk about it. Home is where your family is. It doesn’t matter who’s in your family. Your parents, siblings or any guardian are family. All those people should give you a feeling of being at home and it’s something you can’t explain but you can feel. Also you grow up with your family so whenever you're around them and even if you're not at your house you still know that you can be at home. Lastly, your family did almost everything for you when you were really young so it’s easy to have feelings of being at home with them. Home is where you feel loved and needed. Being loved and needed are two super important things that you need. Whenever you feel loved then you think you don’t need to be anywhere else. Being needed feels amazing so you basically feel at home anywhere. Lastly when you feel loved and needed it’s a foundation to a home. Homes are safe. You need to be safe every day. In a home you need to be safe or else you won’t want to be in it. If you're safe in your home you can basically do anything you want. Feeling safe makes you feel comfortable and a home needs to feel comfortable so you can be yourself in your home. This is what a home is. It’s not four walls. A home needs a family, love and safety. All those things make a home a home.
