What Home Means to Me

Home is not just bricks, concrete, and wood. It’s the feeling of love. Home means to be loved by people and friends. When I walk into my family’s home, it smells fresh like baked cookies right out of the oven and food that we made. When I smell my house I feel warm, love, and my family protecting me. I love my home because my family is always with me whenever I'm in a tough situation like my homework, my mom, dad and sisters will help me, that is why I love my family. Even when I say I don’t like them I know I actually do and it’s just because I am mad. Home is warm to me in love and kindness. Home to me is the feeling of eating as a family for dinner. Even if I don't like it I will eat it because I know my family worked hard on it and I don’t want to make them sad. Home feels good especially when I help my sisters, mom and dad, when I do this I feel like I am an awesome kind family member. Home isn't just your family that you are related to, it could be a perfect friend. I have one and they always comfort me when something is bothering me. They are a fantastic friend. Home to me is at school and seeing my teacher, my teacher is awesome, kind, loving, and happy. My teacher is super good at helping me with something I don't know. Whenever I am sick I know I have the best sisters and parents in the whole world. They make me feel like I am safe at home with my family that loves me and I love them best.
