Home

A home is where my mom,dad and siblings all share a comfy place to rest and have a roof over our head everyday. Home is where family and friends come to eat holiday dinners and share treats together. Homes can change when we move but it is still a home where you can rest your head at night. Home is where love and kindness gets shared by everyone around you. Home is where we teach our dog tricks, when I play with my kitten or when all of the five cats and my dog take up the bed. Home is where all my belongings are like my soft cozy blankets and my photos of my favorite times. Home is where happy memories get made and funny stories get brought up from a funny time. Home is where my mom makes her amazing coconut pie or where we bake our tasty, yummy, special cherry balls and snowballs. Home is where I snuggle my relaxing pillows and sleep in my comfortable, warm, bed. Home is where we make new traditions get made or keep the old ones. Home is where you live and you feel safe like nothing or no one can hurt you. Home is where we set up all our special decorations on the Christmas tree while eating eggnog and listening to Christmas carols. Home is where we laugh and play. Home is where we celebrate everyone in the family’s birthdays. The meaning of home is where you feel safe and healthy. Home is where the spirits of the loved ones we lost stay and protect you. Home is a place where you feel like you belong. There is no other place better than home.
