The Meaning of Home to Me

Home means a lot of different things to everyone. For me home is where I can feel safe with my family, I am provided with what I need and where I am loved by my family. One of the reasons home is a safe place is because once there was a storm and I was so scared. . I was very glad I was inside with my Mom. Once there was a snow storm and school was closed for three days ! and I was disappointed that school was out for three days but I was also glad to have a safe home . At home I am provided with what I need. I remember when I was young I got hurt all the time because I was very curious. I was lucky I had a first aid kit because my dad is a nurse so he had to assist me with my thumb. Once when I scraped my knee and my dad and I remembered that my dad had to put a bandage on my knee it really hurt a lot but I also felt that I had a soft cushion under my leg. Home is where I am loved . My parents show me love by putting me to bed every night , watching movies with me even if they don't like the ones I choose and they tell me that they love me all the time. Once I got into trouble at school but they still love me even though sometimes I make mistakes. And that's why I think that everybody should have a home to live in so that they can be protected , so that they have materials to survive and be loved by their family like me .A home doesn't have to be expensive, it can also be cheap.
