Meaning of home

Home is not about the house; it's the people inside that make it home. Home to me is about these three things: my family, my room and spending time with the people I love. The meaning of home to me is mainly about my family: my mom, dad, sister and more. My parents cook me great food and always help me when I am scared. My sister plays with me and is always looking out for me. They make me feel very loved and safe and make anywhere a very special place. My family is made up of some of the most important people in my life. Home to me is also about my room. It is a safe place just for me so I can relax and have peace and quiet when I need it. It's a spot for me to just sit down and get ready for the day. My room is so comfy and cozy and I love it. Without my room, my house would not be home. Lastly, home to me is about spending time together. Even if I'm spending time with just my parents and sister or even my extended family. My family and I always have a family movie night. It's always a great way to spend time together. We would laugh at funny parts and we each get a special treat like an ice cream sundae. Spending time with the people I love always makes me feel like home. Those are the three reasons that home means to me. My home is special to me because of my family, my own bedroom and spending time with some of my favorite people. I am so grateful that I have a place to call home and people inside that love me.
