What is Home?

Home is where I’ve grown from mistakes and bad decisions. The home was where I first learned to walk and talk. When I come through the front door of my home, my 5 senses come alive. The sound of my siblings screaming and fighting over weird things. The amazing smell of traditional food. The sight of the enormous mess my siblings made. The touch of an incredibly soft pillow when I am having a pillow fight with my siblings. The delicious taste of my mom’s amazing cooking. A lot of people expect a home in a snap of a finger, and if you do, you will never get it. Just like a house, you must build a home, and if no one does that you should be the first one to make a move and build your home. And every single home is different the is no such thing as a house too big or too small. You do not have to be related by blood to be a home. You should be loving and caring to start a home. I am thankful for Habitat for Humanity for building homes for people in need.
