Why is home so special to me?

Every morning when I wake up, I feel free and excited for today because each day is different and special in it’s own way. I run downstairs while my dad’s best french toast, topped with maple syrup, fills the air. While I eat my breakfast, I hear my two cats playing together. Every holiday we get what we’ve always wanted. Christmas morning brings presents wrapped under the Christmas tree. Every Easter, my older brother and I find chocolate eggs, and once they’re found, we eat some together with laughter and happiness. Each time I go out to play with my neighbors, we go play at a park near our house. When I go back home, I always have the best lunches with my best family. Home is where memories are created and spread throughout the world. Whenever we have dinner, no matter what day it is, we have the best baked potatoes with chicken drumsticks and pickles. Home is where we gather to watch movies every Saturday. Home is always pleasant and comfortable and protective. I go upstairs to get ready for bed, but before I go to bed, I always read to my parents and my parents read to me. When I go to bed, I also snuggle and cuddle with my two favourite cats Buttons and Kringle. Home is a special type of shelter that I use every day and night. This is why home is so special to me.
