Home Home. Home is a feeling in which I feel loved and supported No matter where I am or where I am transported Home is a place where pieces of my heart stays And a place where my laughter lays Home is a place where I feel safe and secure No matter where I am, I can feel pure Home is where I see all my old photos And where I am never solo Home is where I am taught right from wrong And where I can be strong Home is where I see my identity wherever I look, in every corner and every nook Home is where I can always count on someone to be there to pick me up Even when I am at my worst And where I share precious moments And make memories that will last a lifetime and more. It breaks my heart that people don’t know the meaning of home. But because of habitat for humanity more people can feel how it feels to be home. And children like me can have the opportunity to help people find a safe place to call their own.
