Home is a Strong Family Bond

I think the meaning of home is family but I think family is a much broader term because some of my family isn't even related to me. They may not look like you or even really be related to you but deep down when your heart is at its purest it recognizes those people as family to you. A family bond is stronger than any other bond you will make in your life . Another piece of my family is my two moms, two dogs and twin brother who's only older by a minute because wherever they are is home to me. Though we may fight and get mad sometimes for us it's never goodbye only see you later. I believe that a roof over my head would be a house but to have my moms and my brother there with me makes it a home. Even though it may be cheesy, Home is where the heart is and my family has my heart. Another answer I could give when I asked myself what the meaning of home is to me was that home is a place where we all set our differences aside and fill the space with joy, love, laughter and memories . Some memories are of my mum playing guitar to some of the songs she wrote or my mom telling a joke that makes us all laugh and smile ear to ear. Or maybe a memory of a family dinner where we all shared all the good things going on in our lives while smiling. I love my home, my safe place. So Thank you so much habitat for humanity for giving housing to those who need and bringing smiles to many peoples faces by providing shelter, I appreciate you so very much sincerely Robin Ryan DeCaire.
