What is Home?

Home means “one’s place of residence” but I believe home is anywhere I can share joy and laughter with my family. Home means “a place of origin” but I believe home is anywhere I belong. Home means “one’s own country” but I believe home is anywhere I can smell my mom’s cooking. Home is where I feel loved and cared for. Home is where I feel safe during a storm. Home is where I feel like I belong. A home is not a house. A house is a building with walls and a roof. A home is where the heart of the family is and a home is anywhere the heart is. A home is where I am loved. Where I am safe. And where I can be me with no worries.
