What Home Means to Me

Home is a special place where I have my family, I can be safe and learn. Home to me means family. Being with my family I know that I am protected. My family loves me no matter what. The smell of my mom baking in the kitchen makes me happy. Those are the things that make my family home. Home to me means that I am safe. I feel safe in my house because I have a place to stay warm. I have a roof and walls around me to protect me from the weather outside. I have my family to protect me from danger. These are the things that make me thankful for my house. In my home I feel best when I’m learning. When I was learning to ride my bike it was hard but I got it. In the kitchen when I am learning to cook I need to learn the recipes. It will be easier when I’m older. In the garage when I’m building with my dad I feel happy. That’s why learning reminds me of home. Family, safety and learning are the reasons why that makes home, home!
