A house is just a place with four walls and a roof. Have you ever thought of home though? To me home is where you come home and hear your dogs barking. Home is where you walk into a certain room and laugh and smile at the memories. A house is a box with a roof, but a home is a box with a roof with memories and smiles. A home is where you can smell moms cookies from the basement. Home is where me and my sister and friends sing Taylor Swift and do Just Dance. Home is where you laugh until you can't breathe. Have you ever been to a camp or a sleepover and it's been a while since you've been home, and you just want to be at home? That's because home is also a safe place with love inside. Home is where you can't sleep at night, so your mom and dad let you fall asleep with them. Home is where me and my friends write songs and dances for our parents. Home is baking cookie dough with your sisters, but end up adding too much sugar. Home is where you and your friend try making a smoothie, but end up breaking a glass bowl and you start sweeping it with the fireplace broom and shovel because you can't find the broom. Now that's home to me.
