Home To Me

Home is where my Mum, Dad, and sisters are, Where I ride to school every day in a car. Where every Christmas I sit around the tree, Waiting for everyone to wake up so I can see what they got me! Even when my sisters make me angry, There is no other place that makes me so happy. Home to me is a place where it is nice and warm, A place where I feel safe and calm. A place where I play Uno with my family, I always win really quickly. Where I learnt how to cook, And where I read a lot of books. Where I learnt to read and write, It took a lot of time but I finally got it right. Home is where I took my first bite of solid food And it was really good! Thank you Habitat for Humanity, For giving me this opportunity. Finding homes for people in need, This is what home means to me.
