What Home is to Me

Home to me is a place where you learn to cook, clean, and love. I adore the peace home brings to me and my family. Hearing rain drizzle, the fire crackling in the distant, and calm music playing makes me feel comfortable and safe. Homes give warmth, love, a place to learn, grow, and a place to feel welcomed and calm. Home is a magical place where you can express yourself and be you. At home you have privacy, freedom, and space which is so important. Homes store our valuables like memories, and precious rocks. This is why home to me is truly sacred. I’m grateful that I have a home and I'm very happy that Habitat for Humanity builds homes that are accessible for people that need them. It’s actually a miracle!
