What a Home Means to Me By Charlie Copley
A home is a place with more than four walls and a roof. It is a place where you can find your family, and pets.
A place where you can feel the warmth of the fireplace,
as you walk right into your living room. Also, you feel the warmth of you and your family together.
A home is when you walk right in and smell
the smell of the food boiling on the stove. It brings you joy
and it lets you know that you are not alone. It lets you know that your family is there and is making you supper, because you are special and they love you. That is when you know you are not alone.
A home is a place to remember those who have passed on over the years, like your 74 year old grandpa, who died from a stroke. My grandpa had Parkinson's and loved sports. He may be gone, but he is still in my heart, and in my whole family's heart, and he will always be there.
A home is a place with a feeling of warmth, family, good food, and memories of family members who have passed on. A home is more than just four walls and a roof. A home is a feeling of happiness, safety, and security.
