The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is me opening my front door and my dog jumping on me and giving me kisses after a hard day at school. Home is me babysitting my baby sister and making her laugh by tickling her. Home is me watching my favorite show with my mom and hugging her when the intense parts happen. Home is my dad making a joke that's…well. Home is me teaching my brother how to make a paper sword. Home means memories to me, home means safety to me, home means family to me. I'm so thankful that me and my family can live in a house where we feel safe and i don't have to hide it im so happy that i have a roof over my head and don't have to worry about floods i'm so happy i'm in a neighborhood where i'm not scared that i will get robbed. I love habitat for humanity for building homes so a family can have a home just like mine.
