My Home

In my home I feel safe With my dogs and my family There’s nothing like sitting in bed watching Youtube or TV I feel at home when I’m with my siblings whether we’re fighting or not I feel at home with my parents at the dinner table talking about the day that we had On the bus ride home with my brother no talking not making any eye contact just enjoying the silence in our heads for a good 15 minutes until we get home On the couch with my puppy Daisy letting her curl up into a little croissant between my legs and the couch That’s what home means to me
