Home's Feeling

Home is more than just a house. Home is where you are always loved and supported, even if you make mistakes. Home is where you will always feel happy and loved. Home is also where your dog refuses to stop licking your face even when you’ve tried to stop her multiple times. It’s where you can count on your brother throwing snowballs at you in the winter. It’s also where you can relax and curl up and read a good book in your cozy, relaxing couch corner underneath a nice, warm blanket. Home is where you can happily play a nice, long, complicated board game with your family and where you play baseball with your family and your dog jumps at you and tries to steal the ball. Home is where you don’t want to get out of bed because it’s so warm and cozy and it’s where your dog pokes their head into everything you’re doing to get ear rubs. Home is Friday movie night, when we all sit on the couch and eat popcorn. Home is where you snuggle with your dog on the couch and where said dog eats a baseball glove and a dead bird. It’s where memories are made. It is a sanctuary from the outside world and the place with many of your happy times. Home is one of the most important things in the world. Money can’t buy the feeling that home gives you. Home can only be made by friendship and love. As long as you have that, any place can be a home. Home is where my family is and where I feel happy and loved. It is the best place on earth. That is what makes a home to me.
