What Home Means To Me

To me home means safety, I can go here whenever I want, and I feel safe when I'm there. Also, it is a shelter for me and my family, it covers us from rain, snow, wind, etc. I feel protected in my home because my parents have paid and renovated my home for it to be safe and for it to protect my family and I. It makes us feel comfortable. My home is where I have lived my whole entire life with my mom, my dad, my sister, and my brother. We have so much fun in our house. We have movie nights, game nights, and we just hang out and that is fun too! Our house is also one of my favourite places I feel safe and happy in. Also I feel safe in my home because I have family at home and they make me feel happy. At my house, me and my family have made a lot of memories of the many years we have lived in our house. In my house, my parents taught me how to cook, do the dishes, laundry, and mow the lawn. I know some things seem boring but as a family they aren’t. Something me and my family do every Christmas is wear matching pajamas. We have matching PJ’s we wear on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Usually, when I come home from school I always smell my mom or dad’s delicious cooking when I come home from school. My mom loves to cook honey garlic chicken that everyone loves. My dad, on the other hand, likes to make ribs on the barbecue. They are so juicy and full of flavor. My home is truly an amazing place to be.
