The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where I feel safe and loved. I hear the birds chirping. I taste the lemonade in my mouth and on my lips on a hot summer day. My home that I love, my home brings me happiness, comfort and love to my heart.« My home is where I live, my home is where I am meant to be, so that is where I will be. I touch the blanket as I sleep. I tease my older brother if he teases me. I play with my brother and make little forts with him. If I ever left my family I would be heartbroken. My neighborhood is like a family. Home brings me joy, happiness and peace. As I sip the hot chocolate and cuddle with my parents I think of how lucky I am.
