What Home Means to Me

I have a favorite book That I always like to look at Me and my family sit on the couch And the movie we watch is Home Alone When I’m with my family I feel safe We cuddle up so we don’t feel unsafe My favorite place to go chill is my bed It makes me feel like I want to eat bread My favorite thing to do outside is build a snow fort But it needs to be really sturdy and have support Home tastes like sticky maple syrup on my sausage and pancakes It makes me want to know what man created it Home feels like lying on my bed without being bothered It really makes me feel so proud and honored Home smells like my mom making a fresh batch of cookies It smells so good it looks like a batch of goodies Home makes me feel calm when I go downstairs and play hockey When I take shots on the net it makes me feel blockey Home to me is like being left alone so I can play with lego It’s so nice to be left alone playing with lego make me want egos Outside is like playing in the snow and making snowballs It’s so nice and peaceful and I like to throw the balls Home is like looking at the walls and seeing my family pictures It makes me want to go to my bed and write a scripture This is what home means to me.
