Home isn’t just walls and a roof. It’s the memories we hold on to and will never let go of. It’s cuddling under a warm blanket after playing outside on a cold winter night. It’s knowing that I’m in a safe place with people I can trust. It’s waking up and sleepily walking down the stairs towards the smell of the sweet, syrupy pancakes waiting for me. It’s me and my family doing one-thousand-piece puzzles on the coldest winter days. My home is my happy place. Habitat for humanity helps make sure everyone has a safe place to live in.
