What Home Means to Me

Home has very different meanings. To me home is a special place to love, to give. To be at ease. Home is a place to protect you and your family. Home is a bank of memories, the bad and the good. Even if you move you remember these special memories. Every house you live in adds to this massive bank of memories. At the end of your time you have a massive population of memories. You may forget some, you may remember some. When you have a home, you see life as better. If you have a home, that does not mean that everything on Earth is happy and joyful. When you're born in a bad, dirty place you realize how much a home is worth to you. If you are born in a clean, healthy environment, you see a home as a place to be ungrateful because you're not getting what you want. Just take a minute to realize how lucky you are to have a house, food to eat, a bed to sleep on and a loving, caring family. You may have a smaller or bigger house but that does not matter. What matters is that you have a home.
