What Home Means To Me

What is home to me: Home to me isn’t just the place where I live it’s the place where I thrive, learn and overall feel safe. home to me is a space where I wake up and know that I am cared for and that I am with the people who I love the most. What home can mean to others: It can be hard for others to feel safe in their own house because even though they have a roof over their head they might not feel as supported as others because they might have bottles of emotions filled up but nowhere to feel heard or seen. What we can do to help: Some people might have the same home environment as me so that they can feel secure in their own household. But for the ones who don’t have as much access to a shielded environment, the Waterloo Region School District can check in with students, and see if there is anything to look into. Also as a class make sure not only does the student feel safe but also fits in and feels comfortable. If not only the students also the families are struggling we as an area can donate health care products or money to help the families in need. I am most grateful for my home because I have access to everything I need and I can have a suitable living space to feel protected and guarded. I'm very thankful for being able to have a house that isn't just four walls it's built of memories and fun times. Everyone's home is different, what do you do to make it intriguing for you?
