Meaning of Home

Home. At first, that may just seem like any old word, but the more you think about it, the more complicated it gets. Home may vary amongst people, but here is what home means to me. First, home is home, no matter where I'm coming home from. It doesn’t matter if I'm coming home from school, sports, or even across the world! I also feel very familiar with my surroundings because I have lived at my house for a very long time. Secondly, home is my family. Home is my family because they care for me and make me feel loved. They do this by always being at my home when I come home from school or sports. Finally, home is a place for memories. It’s where my family does activities like playing board games or watching movies. It’s also where me and my family have events like Easter and Christmas. In conclusion, home to me is a place for memories, my family, and finally, home is home no matter where I am coming home from. This is what home means to me now and hopefully forever!
