The Meaning of Home for Maddalyn

There are many people in this world who don't have a house to live in, but everyone deserves a safe place to live. For me, home is more than just a building, it is where I feel safe. Three places I feel safe in my home are my bedroom, kitchen, and living room. This is the meaning of home for me. The first place I feel safe in is my bedroom. I feel safe in my bedroom because I have a bed to sleep in, and I have a roof over my head. This means that animals and the weather can’t get to me Also, I won't get cold or wet. I feel warm and comfy in my bed. The next place I feel safe in is the kitchen. I feel safe knowing that there is food and water in case I get hungry or thirsty. When we have dinner, we talk about our day. The last place I feel safe in is the living room. The living room makes me feel comfortable and safe because we watch movies and eat popcorn. I also have a lot of memories in the living room. In conclusion, that is why I feel safe in my home, and it is not just a building, it is a place I call home.
