Home is Family

Have you ever thought about what the meaning of home is for you? For me, it's family. But why do I feel this way? Firstly, I feel loved when my siblings hang out with me. I feel loved when my family and I sit together every night to eat dinner. My family will always support me no matter what. Next, around my family, I feel safe. I feel safe when my family protects me. I know that I will never have to worry about where I'm going to sleep at night, or what I'm going to eat because I have a safe home. Finally, my family makes me feel grateful. Grateful, that my mom makes sure there’s food on the table every night. Grateful, that my dad helps fix things that are broken, and grateful that there's a roof over my house. Overall, the meaning of home for me is how my family makes me feel loved, safe and grateful. What's the meaning of home for you?
