What Home Means to Me

Home is not just one place; home is where you feel safe, have a warm bed, have a loving family. When I first moved to BC, we were houseless, not homeless. We had a house; it was our trailer and our friends and family's houses. But we always had a home, and nothing could make us not have a home not a person not anything else. The reason we only had the basement was because there were renters using it. Home to me is a happy place, a place where I can have fun with the people I love and care about.
