Home

A home is a place where I can feel safe expressing myself artistically, emotionally, and lovingly. At home, I feel safe and loved by my parents. They try very hard to make home a place where I feel safe enough to tell them what happens at school and how my day went with my friends, enemies, teachers, and all the people in my school. I feel very grateful for all they do for me, and I try to do the same for my brother. My brother is five and he goes to preschool although he doesn't have many friends yet. I am very overprotective. As he grows up I want him to be able to come to me and tell me about his day like I do with my mom and dad. A home is a place where when I have a bad day I want to be. Home is not truly a house. Home is where you feel safe and happy, and have people all around your community you can trust. I feel that home is not a house, a home can be a tent, a car, or an apartment, but most people have a home that has a roof and walls. Home is the foundation of a person. Most of the time if you live in a house that has people inside that are angry most of the time that influences you and you would be angry a lot. Pretend that Tyler grows up in a house that has a majority of yellow things, yellow might be associated with home. For me, I'm not a fan of school so when I get home I feel great because I'm in my nest and no one from school can bother me. Home is me.
