A Home and a House. What is the difference?

Home is where I see my mom, Dad, and Sister. At my home I feel safe, home is where the people and the things I love are. When I’m homesick, it’s because I miss the aura of my home because it calms me. A difference between a house and a home, is that a home holds memories. Home is the place where I feel a kind of happy you can't feel anywhere else. Home is where I make memories with the ones that I love that will last a lifetime, some examples of memories that will last a lifetime is when I taught my sister to crawl by putting honey nut cheerios™ in a row on the floor, when my sister took her first steps, when my sister said her first words, when I learnt to crawl and walk, when I said my first word and many more. At home I have fun with the ones I love. A difference between a house and a home is that a home doesn’t feel complete without certain people there. for me, when my sister was born, my home felt more complete, this was the same for when we got our dog, Radar, and my bearded dragon Camo. Home was and is the place I grew up. But that’s not the case for everyone. My home greets me with open arms. The chairs and couches and my home greet me with a warm and comfortable hug. Home is where I learn with my family. Home is where I experience some of the most important moments of my life. Home is special to me because I feel welcomed by the people there. Home is where I can talk about my and others’ problems. Home is where I celebrate traditions with my family. Like New Year’s with my cousins, aunts, and uncles. Home is where I play with my sister in sibling rivalry, love, happiness, and kindness. Home is where I live, sleep, and eat. Home is where I go to every day after school. Home is where I can enjoy delicious home cooked meals made by my mom and dad, like my grandpa’s soup. In my home I have my own room where I can have privacy. A home is more than some walls and a roof, a home may have some walls and a roof, but those walls hold memories A home doesn’t need to be a big fancy place, a home is a place to be loved. A home may have its flaws, but a home should always be perfect in the persons eyes. No matter where I go, I will always end up back home. home for you may be the country you're from, or the house you grew up in, maybe the community? The point is, home is different for everyone, everyone should have a home to go to, but not everyone does. But Habitat for Humanity Canada is trying to change that. Thank you for the challenging work you're doing to help people in need Habitat for Humanity Canada. But No matter where I go, I will always end up back home.
