My Home Is Special To Me

Home is where I feel lots of love, It’s a gift from God above. I love my family very much, I like time with them at lunch. Home is where I get lots of hugs, Where we drink hot chocolate in mugs. It’s where I’m cozy in my bed, Where I lay my tired head. It is where I comfortably sleep, Where I dream of jumping sheep. I feel peace inside my home, In the lovely place I roam. The only place that’s safe to cry I’ll never want to say goodbye. Out my window you will see, A green wall of big tall trees. With a bright backyard outside, Where there's a slippery slide. When you take a look around, You will see my green playground. Home where the breeze is blowing, I can hear my rooster crowing. I am so blessed I have a home, And that I do not live alone. I really love my family, I spend time with them joyfully. Habitat for Humanity is the best, Building a safe place to rest. It helps to give people a home, I really hope you liked this poem.
